home decoratingIt's a small step but one that I must take. I'm going to start home decorating in my laundry room this weekend. I use this room a great deal because it's the one most people see when they first enter the house. We don't use the front door much because we have cats who like to sneak out, but the laundry room has two doors: one from the kitchen and one to the sideyard. All my friends know to come to the back door so the cats don't have a chance to sneak out, so I am going to use paint to change the look of it and hang a few things on the walls. Home decorating isn't hard, and hopefully this weekend I'll get that area painted. The only challenge to this home decorating activity is finding the right paint for the vinyl doors. They get a lot of use and the finish by the door handle is wearing off. I also want to install some shelves that will reduce the perpetual clutter that ends up on the dryer. Simple home decorating ideas like this don't cost much and can make a big difference in a home's appearance.
