Air purifiers take the dust and allergens out of the air and recycle it into clean air.  That's why if you have allergies or asthma you should look into a good air purifier.  It really makes a difference in how you breathe and how you feel.  Even if you don't have allergies, air purifiers are a good idea just to be sure you are breathing clean air in your home.  I've noticed that I'm not as congested at night when the air purifier is on.  I also know that I sneeze a lot less.
