silk flower arrangements

We all know how wonderful it is to have live flowers in the house, but it's actually cheaper to have silk flower arrangements.  We like to make a few silk flower arrangements for different seasons, maybe have two or three for the seasons so that we can spread them around the house.  I know when people hear Silk flower arrangements, they think of these real fake looking plants, but these days silk flower arrangements have come such a long way that I've seen some silk flower arrangements that look like they are real plants. 

A few weeks ago my cousin and I went to Lake Geneva, WI and she saw some silk flowers in one of the stores that she loved. She was going to buy them but I told her I'd take her to a place by my house where she could get really nice silk flowers for less than those. So after we decided to head back, we stopped at the store by my house and went looking for silk flowers. She wanted to create a small silk flower arrangements for her bathroom, to give it a spa like feel. We walked around looking for just the right silk flowers and even mixed in some dried eucalyptus. Once we had the perfect flowers, it was a matter of finding the perfect vessel and then we were on our way home. Everyone that saw the arrangement loved it. My cousin even called me one day to say how much she really loves it and is glad we went shopping there.
